Frequently Asked Questions
We take security very seriously. We require passwords that meet our security requirements and we store them as salted hashes in our secure database, meaning that even we do not have access to your password. We encourage our users to set up two-factor authentication, which requires them to enter a code sent via text message when signing in from an unrecognized device.
Maybe. If you're creating a check that will be deposited through a photo on a banking app, you likely won't have an issue with regular paper. However, for a more professional look and feel, we recommend printing checks onto check stock. See our guide to check stock for additional information.
The fraction is not necessary on most checks. If you have existing check stock and it has a fraction (commonly located by the name of the bank at the top middle of the check), it's probably a good idea to include it with your account info in Checksify. If you do not know the proper fraction for your account, please leave this space blank.
Absolutely! When you change plans, your existing plan will be pro-rated based on the number of days in your subscription and charges for your new plan will begin immediately. We've tried to make it as easy as possible for you to find the plan that's right for you — just visit our pricing page to see the available plans.
If you decide to not renew, you may cancel your subscription and you will not be billed again. You will able to continue using Checksify until the end of the subscription term for which you paid. While we'll be sad to see you go, we don't want to make this process more difficult than it needs to be.
At one point, certain web browsers and operating systems were unable to download the files that Checksify generated. This issue has now been resolved and all checks download as PDF files with the check number as the filename. You can also have your check emailed to you for added convenience!
